Team Spotlight – Kathy Khouri
I always joked with friends that my dream job was to travel the globe and rate fancy hotels. I had no idea that I would come so close to my dream! When I heard about the MSR job with The Discovery Club, I jumped at the opportunity to apply. I am so excited to work with members and help provide unique and luxurious travel experiences that one can only dream of.
I moved to Victoria 11 years ago to attend school, and once I completed my degree, I decided to stay in this beautiful city. I am about to receive a Certificate in Leadership Development, and that combined with my customer service experience and excitement about travel will hopefully make me of great service to members.
Luxury travel can be the opportunity of a lifetime. I feel inspired to see more of the world and learn about different people and cultures. Why not do it in the lap of luxury relaxing in a hot tub or embracing new adventures? I fully support the development of The Discovery Club and feel privileged that I can be a part of making memories.

Team Spotlight – Jacquie Sartori
I feel very fortunate to have an opportunity to work for not only the Walker Family, but an incredible company like The Discovery Club.
The Victoria marketplace has been where I have established myself for 22 years in industries such as telecom, media, and the luxury market. I chose to come on board with The Discovery Club because I feel they have a product that is truly unique for those travellers that want to have limitless travel options. I tend to call it “the bucket list of travel”. It is all the things we dream about, but never imagined possible. When we are working long hours, we don’t find the time. We reach our comfortable income levels but never travel the way we would like to. Sound familiar? Why do we do this to ourselves? Simple…we’re too busy, don’t have enough time, have family commitments, or are too stressed to even think about it!
Imagine being able to pick up the phone, call The Discovery Club, and say, “Hello, I would like to book ANOTHER dream vacation! Travel Dreams…Ireland

I know I should probably be reserving this post for sometime closer to St. Patrick’s Day, but in honor of one of my oldest friends coming back to Victoria for a visit after being in Ireland for the past 2 ½ years, I just had to write it now! He chose to follow his heart and move there, while his girlfriend waits to be able to move to Canada permanently. Over the past 2 ½ years I’ve seen his photos, received his email updates and gotten a pretty good idea of what life in Ireland is like. From what I’ve seen and heard it seems like a beautiful country with a ton of heritage. That, in combination with having a free tour guide when I go there, is why it has made my Travel Dreams list. Travel Dreams…Tahiti

This past weekend I went camping at Little Qualicum Falls in Qualicum, BC. It is a truly beautiful park that I would recommend everyone visit to see the amazing waterfalls. I thought a summer weekend would be a perfect time to get away and explore the outdoors a bit. Unfortunately for me…mother nature had other plans. As I lay awake at 3am, unable to sleep due to the sound of rain pounding down on my tent, I started dreaming about where I would rather be. Ok I’ll admit, at that point it was pretty much anywhere but there…but since I was cold and wet I started dreaming of somewhere hot and tropical.
Thanks to recent episodes of The Bachelorette (yes I’m a fan of the show…please don’t judge me!), my latest travel dream destination is Tahiti. I’ve always known that Tahiti was a beautiful place, and thought that one day I might go there. But since seeing it on the show its now a place I HAVE to go!
