Therese,
You will love it in Maui, of the 10 best things to do , Jackie and I and Heather and Jackson did a few of them last year in January when we were there. However there are a few things that I would recommend, the drive to Hana on the Hana highway is a must. take your camera and stop in at the many rest areas that are along the road.also stop at black sand beach about half way there. It’s in a national park, I will try and find the name of it and send it to you.
Also when Jackie and I were there four years ago we did go to Molokini to do some snorkeling but you will see just as many fish at the beach at Kanapali beach. At this beach at the north end of it there is a big black rock jutting out into the sea, that is where you go. There are so many places that you can see fish and turtles and its free.
I hope you have a great time wish we were coming with you guys
